Sweilem Al Rihani, a graduate student conducting research in the Department of Drug Discovery and Development under Dr. Amal Kaddoumi, took first place last week in the poster competition at the Boshell Diabetes Research Day. His poster was titled “From high-throughput screening to drug repurposing: Granisetron alleviates Alzheimer’s disease pathology in TgSwDI mouse through CaMKII/CREB pathway.”
